Description

A delightful sandwich combining creamy goat cheese, crisp apple slices, and flaky croissants, elevated with honey and cinnamon for a special treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 Croissants
  • 1 medium Apple, thinly sliced
  • 4 oz Goat Cheese, softened
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
  • Fresh Arugula (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice each croissant in half horizontally.
  3. Prepare the goat cheese mixture by combining goat cheese, honey, and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  4. Spread the goat cheese mixture generously on the bottom half of each croissant.
  5. Layer the thin apple slices on top of the goat cheese.
  6. Add arugula on top of the apples, if using.
  7. Top the sandwiches with the upper half of the croissants.
  8. Warm the sandwiches in the oven for about 5-7 minutes until the cheese starts to melt.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Enjoy with sides like a mixed green salad or tomato soup for a complete meal. Can be made ahead by preparing the goat cheese mixture and slicing the apples in advance.
