- 2 Croissants
- 1 medium Apple, thinly sliced
- 4 oz Goat Cheese, softened
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
- Fresh Arugula (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice each croissant in half horizontally.
- Prepare the goat cheese mixture by combining goat cheese, honey, and cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Spread the goat cheese mixture generously on the bottom half of each croissant.
- Layer the thin apple slices on top of the goat cheese.
- Add arugula on top of the apples, if using.
- Top the sandwiches with the upper half of the croissants.
- Warm the sandwiches in the oven for about 5-7 minutes until the cheese starts to melt.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Enjoy with sides like a mixed green salad or tomato soup for a complete meal. Can be made ahead by preparing the goat cheese mixture and slicing the apples in advance.
