- 1 box of yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 cups of diced apples
- 1 cup of powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, and 1 egg until well blended.
- Spread the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth, then add 2 eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cake layer in the baking dish.
- Top with diced apples evenly across the surface.
- Sprinkle powdered sugar over the top.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
- Allow to cool before serving.
