- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon.
- Add milk, melted butter, and egg to the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
- Fold in the blueberries gently.
- Roll the dough out on a floured surface and shape it into a rectangle.
- Spread a little butter on top and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
- Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes.
- While baking, mix powdered sugar and lemon juice to create the glaze.
- Once the rolls are done, drizzle the glaze on top and serve warm.
Notes
- For best results, use fresh blueberries.
- Can substitute almond milk for a dairy-free option.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
