Description

Delicious blueberry cinnamon rolls filled with sweet blueberries and a hint of cinnamon, topped with a creamy glaze.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon.
  3. Add milk, melted butter, and egg to the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  4. Fold in the blueberries gently.
  5. Roll the dough out on a floured surface and shape it into a rectangle.
  6. Spread a little butter on top and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
  7. Roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
  8. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  9. While baking, mix powdered sugar and lemon juice to create the glaze.
  10. Once the rolls are done, drizzle the glaze on top and serve warm.

Notes

  • For best results, use fresh blueberries.
  • Can substitute almond milk for a dairy-free option.
