- 3 slices of whole grain bread
- 2 large eggs
- 4 slices of smoked bacon
- 2 slices of cheddar cheese
- 1 ripe tomato, thinly sliced
- 1 avocado, mashed
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Fresh lettuce leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat for 4-5 minutes until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
- Prepare the eggs in the same skillet, melting butter, and cooking until whites are firm and yolks are runny (3-4 minutes).
- Toast the bread until golden brown using a toaster or oven.
- Spread mayonnaise on one side of each bread slice.
- Layer lettuce, tomato, and crispy bacon on the first slice of bread, then cover with a second slice, mayonnaise side down.
- Add mashed avocado on the top side of the second slice, followed by eggs and cheddar cheese.
- Finish with the final slice of bread on top, mayonnaise side down, and secure with toothpicks if necessary.
