- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, cheddar cheese, onion, milk, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined and form into a loaf shape.
- Place the meatloaf in a baking dish and spread marinara sauce on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms to the meat mixture for added flavor.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
