Description

A creamy and flavorful one-pot dish featuring Cajun-spiced chicken and orzo pasta in a rich Alfredo sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 2 cups orzo pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup bell peppers, diced
  • 1 cup onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add diced chicken and Cajun seasoning, cooking until chicken is browned.
  3. Add onion, bell peppers, and garlic, sautéing until softened.
  4. Stir in the orzo, chicken broth, and heavy cream.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until orzo is cooked and liquid is absorbed.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
