Description

Cowboy Casserole is a hearty one-pot dish that combines ground beef, corn, and tater tots, topped with cheese for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked.
  3. Drain excess fat and stir in the corn, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread the beef mixture evenly in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Top with frozen tater tots in a single layer.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of the tater tots.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or green beans for extra nutrition.
