Description

A delicious and creamy seafood stuffed shells recipe that is sure to impress your guests.


Ingredients

  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
  • 1 cup cooked crab meat
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, chopped shrimp, crab meat, Parmesan cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, heavy cream, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stuff each cooked shell with the seafood mixture and place them in a baking dish.
  5. Pour marinara sauce over the stuffed shells and sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
  6. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to substitute the seafood with your favorite options.
  • For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the filling.
  • This dish can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
