Description

Delicious crispy bacon-wrapped mozzarella poppers drizzled with a sweet maple glaze, perfect for gatherings and celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz thick-cut bacon
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella balls
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Wrap each mozzarella ball with a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  4. Roll each wrapped mozzarella in panko breadcrumbs until fully coated.
  5. Bake on the prepared baking sheet for 15-20 minutes until crispy.
  6. Make the glaze by melting butter in a saucepan, then stirring in maple syrup and garlic powder for 2 minutes.
  7. Drizzle the glaze over warm poppers before serving.

Notes

Make-ahead: Assemble poppers ahead of time and refrigerate for up to 4 hours before baking.
