- 8 oz thick-cut bacon
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella balls
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Wrap each mozzarella ball with a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
- Roll each wrapped mozzarella in panko breadcrumbs until fully coated.
- Bake on the prepared baking sheet for 15-20 minutes until crispy.
- Make the glaze by melting butter in a saucepan, then stirring in maple syrup and garlic powder for 2 minutes.
- Drizzle the glaze over warm poppers before serving.

Make-ahead: Assemble poppers ahead of time and refrigerate for up to 4 hours before baking.
