Description

Deliciously crispy salmon bites paired with a creamy, spicy Bang Bang sauce, perfect for appetizers or snacks.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh, skinless salmon fillets, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise (for sauce)
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce (for sauce)
  • 1 tbsp sriracha (for sauce)
  • 1 tbsp honey (for sauce)
  • 1 tbsp lime juice (for sauce)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the salmon by cutting it into 1-inch cubes and patting dry.
  2. Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and seasoned panko.
  3. Bread each salmon cube by first coating with flour, then eggs, and finally panko crumbs.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  5. Fry the bites in batches for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Make the Bang Bang sauce by whisking together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice.
  7. Serve the salmon bites hot, drizzled with the Bang Bang sauce or on the side for dipping.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute mayonnaise with Greek yogurt. Ensure the oil temperature is right for crispy results.
