Description

A flavorful and festive pasta dish inspired by the vibrant flavors of Mardi Gras, featuring a mix of seafood and spices.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb scallops
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add shrimp and scallops; cook until they are opaque.
  5. Stir in diced tomatoes and Cajun seasoning; cook for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  7. Add cooked pasta and toss to combine.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Garnish with green onions before serving.
