Description

Delightfully fluffy, golden-brown bites of French toast made from Hawaiian rolls, coated in a creamy egg mixture with cinnamon and vanilla.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 Hawaiian Rolls
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • Powdered Sugar for Serving
  • Syrup for Serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cut the Hawaiian rolls into quarters and arrange them in the baking dish.
  3. Whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the roll pieces, pressing them down to absorb it.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and puffed up.
  6. Serve warm with powdered sugar and syrup.

Notes

Make-ahead by assembling the dish the night before and refrigerating. Alternative cooking methods include using an air fryer for quicker results.
