- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup fresh Thai basil leaves
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 package spring roll wrappers
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, Thai basil, garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and black pepper until well combined.
- Take a spring roll wrapper and place a spoonful of the beef mixture in the center.
- Fold the sides of the wrapper over the filling and roll tightly.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Fry the rolls until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- Make sure not to overfill the spring rolls to prevent them from bursting while frying.
