A delicious and low-carb dish featuring shrimp and sausage stuffed in cabbage leaves, seasoned with Cajun spices.

- 1 head of cabbage
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pound sausage, sliced
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add onion and garlic, sauté until translucent.
- Add sausage and cook until browned.
- Stir in shrimp, diced tomatoes, and Cajun seasoning; cook until shrimp are pink.
- Remove cabbage leaves from the head and blanch in boiling water for 2-3 minutes.
- Stuff each cabbage leaf with the shrimp and sausage mixture.
- Place stuffed cabbage in a baking dish and cover with foil.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until heated through.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add cheese on top before baking.
- Can substitute sausage with chicken or turkey for a lighter option.
- Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste for spiciness.
