Description

A delightful fusion of savory ground beef, aromatic garlic, and ginger served over fluffy rice, garnished with fresh green onions and sesame seeds.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat for about 1 minute.
  2. Stir in the minced garlic and ginger, sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet and break it apart with a wooden spoon, browning it for about 5–7 minutes until caramelized.
  4. Pour in the soy sauce, stirring well to coat the beef, and cook for an additional 2–3 minutes.
  5. Serve the beef mixture over the warm rice, garnishing with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding a splash of rice vinegar or sesame seeds into the beef mixture at the end.
