Description

A delightful blend of breakfast and lunch, featuring a crispy waffle bun, juicy beef patty, savory bacon, and sweet maple syrup.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 frozen waffles
  • 6 strips bacon
  • 2 slices cheese (cheddar or your favorite type)
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  2. Form the mixture into two patties, slightly larger than your waffles.
  3. Heat your skillet over medium heat and add the bacon strips. Cook for 6-8 minutes until crispy, then remove and reserve bacon fat.
  4. Cook the beef patties in the skillet with reserved bacon fat for 4-5 minutes per side, adding cheese slices in the last minute.
  5. Toast the waffles according to package instructions until golden brown.
  6. Assemble the burger by placing one waffle on each plate, topping with a beef patty, three strips of bacon, and drizzling with maple syrup, then finishing with another waffle.
  7. Serve immediately while warm for the best experience.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: You can prepare the beef patties in advance and refrigerate for up to a day. It’s also customizable; feel free to add toppings like a fried egg or avocado.
