Description

A delightful combination of creamy whipped ricotta and warm roasted strawberries served on crispy sourdough toast, perfect for brunch or a snack.


Ingredients

  • Fresh strawberries
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • Ricotta cheese
  • Sourdough bread
  • Honey (optional)
  • Salt and pepper
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the strawberries and toss them in a bowl with balsamic vinegar, a pinch of salt, and olive oil. Lay them on a baking sheet and roast for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Whip the ricotta cheese in a mixing bowl, adding honey and salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Toast the sourdough bread slices until golden brown.
  5. Assemble the toast by spreading whipped ricotta on the warm slices and topping with roasted strawberries.
