Description

A heartwarming dish combining pasta, succulent sausage, and a sticky honey garlic sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz pasta (such as spaghetti or fettuccine)
  • 1 lb sausage (Italian or smoked, sliced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving a splash of pasta water if needed.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced sausage and cook until browned and crispy.
  3. Add the minced garlic and stir. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add honey and soy sauce, stirring to combine and letting the sauce bubble and thicken.
  5. Toss in the cooked pasta, ensuring every strand is coated in the sauce.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting as necessary.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Prepare sausage and garlic a day ahead for deeper flavors. For a twist, use an air fryer for crispy sausage or bake with cheese on top.
