Description

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

  • 12 tablespoons chili flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine pineapple juice, sugar, rice vinegar, soy sauce, and minced garlic.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  3. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry.
  4. Once the sauce is boiling, stir in the cornstarch slurry and chili flakes.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Remove from heat and let it cool before serving.
