Instructions
- Mix the Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Prepare the Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until thoroughly combined, then add the eggs one at a time.
- Combine and Fold: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, folding gently with a silicone spatula.
- Chill the Dough: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer the dough into an airtight container. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat and Prep: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Scoop and Shape: Using a cookie scoop, portion the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each mound.
- Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 11-14 minutes.
- Cool and Set: Remove cookies from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
