- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup teriyaki sauce for serving
Instructions
- Combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, green onions, minced garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, grated ginger, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper in a large bowl.
- Wet your hands slightly and form the mixture into balls about 1 inch in diameter.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and drizzle in some oil. Once shimmering, carefully add the meatballs.
- Cook for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Pour the teriyaki sauce over the meatballs and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Serve warm, either as an appetizer with toothpicks or over a bed of rice.
Notes
Make ahead: Prepare the meatball mixture a day in advance. Cook with a drizzle of oil for a crispy exterior.
