Description

Juicy turkey meatballs infused with ginger and sesame, enveloped in teriyaki glaze for a delightful flavor experience.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce for serving

Instructions

  1. Combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, green onions, minced garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, grated ginger, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper in a large bowl.
  2. Wet your hands slightly and form the mixture into balls about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and drizzle in some oil. Once shimmering, carefully add the meatballs.
  4. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Pour the teriyaki sauce over the meatballs and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Serve warm, either as an appetizer with toothpicks or over a bed of rice.

Notes

Make ahead: Prepare the meatball mixture a day in advance. Cook with a drizzle of oil for a crispy exterior.
