Description

Delightful warm quesadillas filled with creamy cream cheese and fresh blueberries, perfect for a cozy breakfast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large Wheat Flour Tortilla
  • 1.5 tbsp Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1.25 oz fresh blueberries
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon
  • Cooking spray or unsalted butter for skillet

Instructions

  1. Combine the softened cream cheese with honey (or maple syrup) and a pinch of ground cinnamon in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  2. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over one half of the tortilla, leaving a small border for sealing.
  3. Sprinkle the blueberries atop the cream cheese layer, then fold the tortilla over to enclose the filling.
  4. Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat, lightly coated with cooking spray or unsalted butter.
  5. Place the quesadilla in the skillet and cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, pressing gently with a spatula for a golden crust.
  6. Remove from heat, cool slightly, then slice into wedges and serve warm.

Notes

Customize with spices or fruits. Prepare the cream cheese mixture ahead of time for quick assembly.
