Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, blending well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
- Incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Drop dollops of dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them about two inches apart.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, until golden around the edges.
- Cool completely on a wire rack.
- Pipe or spoon whipped cream onto half of the cookies, then top with remaining cookies.
- Melt the chocolate chips and vegetable oil together until smooth.
- Drizzle or dip the tops of the cookies in the chocolate glaze and let set.
Notes
Make cookies ahead of time and frost before serving for improved flavor. Can be air-fried as well.
