Description
Delightful donuts filled with creamy cheesecake and fresh peaches, reminiscent of summer afternoons.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup fresh peaches, diced
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 package donut dough
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a donut pan to prevent sticking.
- Mix the melted butter and sugar until well combined. Then, add the softened cream cheese and whisk until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Stir in the honey and egg, mixing until everything is blissfully integrated.
- Fold in the diced peaches and graham cracker crumbs, ensuring they’re well-distributed throughout the batter.
- Incorporate the donut dough into the mixture, using a folding motion to avoid overworking the dough, and ensuring no streaks remain.
- Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full for the perfect rise.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the tops turn golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow the donuts to cool slightly in the pan before gently removing them.
- Serve warm! For an extra treat, add fresh peach slices on top or dust with powdered sugar.
Notes
Ensure cream cheese is softened for a smooth mixture. For gluten-free options, substitute the donut dough and graham crackers.
