Description

Deliciously crispy baked cauliflower steaks with garlic, paprika, and cumin that are a perfect plant-based alternative to traditional steak.


Ingredients

  • 1 large head of cauliflower
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • Dipping sauce of choice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Slice the cauliflower into 1-inch thick steaks.
  3. Prepare the olive oil mixture in a mixing bowl with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cumin.
  4. Coat each side of the cauliflower steaks with the olive oil mixture.
  5. Arrange the steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For added flavor, feel free to experiment with different spices like lemon zest or chili powder. Ensure steaks have a uniform thickness for even cooking.
