- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 1 can beef broth
- 1 cup water
- 2–3 cloves garlic, minced

- Au jus for dipping
Instructions
- Prep the roast: Place the beef chuck roast into your crockpot.
- Mix the magic sauce: In a separate bowl, combine the onion soup mix, beef broth, water, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Stir until blended.
- Set it and forget it: Cover your crockpot and choose the cooking time—low for 7-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
- Shred the beef: When ready, take out the roast and use two forks to shred the meat.
- Assemble your sandwiches: Pile the shredded beef onto sub rolls or baguettes, topping with cheese.
