Description

These Crockpot French Dip Sandwiches are a comforting blend of tender beef, rich provolone cheese, and savory au jus, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs beef chuck roast
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 2 cups provolone cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the beef chuck roast in your slow cooker. Generously season with salt and pepper.
  2. Combine the onion soup mix with the beef broth in a mixing bowl.
  3. Pour the mixture over the roast, covering it well.
  4. Cover the slow cooker and set to cook on low for 8 hours.
  5. Shred the beef in the cooker using two forks.
  6. Slice the hoagie rolls in half and fill each with shredded beef.
  7. Top with provolone cheese and let it melt slightly.
  8. Serve warm with a small bowl of au jus for dipping.

Notes

For best results, shred the beef just before serving to maintain texture. Prepare the beef in advance for easy assembly.
