- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 1 cup beef broth
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 2 cups provolone cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
- Place the beef chuck roast in your slow cooker. Generously season with salt and pepper.
- Combine the onion soup mix with the beef broth in a mixing bowl.
- Pour the mixture over the roast, covering it well.
- Cover the slow cooker and set to cook on low for 8 hours.
- Shred the beef in the cooker using two forks.
- Slice the hoagie rolls in half and fill each with shredded beef.
- Top with provolone cheese and let it melt slightly.
- Serve warm with a small bowl of au jus for dipping.
