  • 2 chicken breasts, diced
  • 200 grams mushrooms, sliced
  • 250 grams green beans, trimmed
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon herbs of your choice (Italian herbs or paprika)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ingredients: Wash and trim your green beans, slice the mushrooms, chop the onion, mince the garlic, and dice the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Heat the skillet: Place a large skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil. Allow the oil to heat until shimmering.
  3. Sauté the chicken: Add the diced chicken to the hot skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Brown the chicken on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Cook aromatics: In the same skillet, add the chopped onion. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes until translucent. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  5. Add mushrooms: Toss the sliced mushrooms into the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes until softened.
  6. Incorporate green beans: Add the green beans, soy sauce, and herbs. Stir to combine and cook until tender-crisp, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Return the chicken: Add the cooked chicken back into the skillet and stir together, heating through for about 2 minutes. Adjust seasoning if needed.
