Description

A comforting and delicious cherry crumble with a crunchy oat topping, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen cherries
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup cold butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the cherries, granulated sugar, and lemon juice in a mixing bowl and gently fold them together.
  3. Spread the cherry mixture into a greased baking dish.
  4. Mix the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon in another bowl.
  5. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  6. Sprinkle the oat topping generously over the cherry mixture.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let it cool slightly before serving.
