Description

Delight in these Greek Beef Wraps, filled with spiced ground beef and a creamy roasted garlic feta sauce, perfect for any casual gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 head garlic
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for garlic)
  • 4 oz feta cheese
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 4 large flatbreads or pita wraps
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup sliced cucumber
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Cut the top off the garlic bulb, drizzle it with olive oil, then wrap it in foil. Roast for 30–35 minutes.
  2. Prepare the roasted garlic feta sauce by squeezing the roasted garlic into a food processor, then adding feta cheese, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and black pepper. Blend until smooth.
  3. Cook the beef by heating olive oil in a skillet, adding ground beef, spices, salt, and pepper. Cook until fully browned.
  4. Warm the flatbreads according to package instructions.
  5. Assemble the wraps by spreading roasted garlic feta sauce on each wrap, then layering on beef, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion.
  6. Roll the wraps tightly, tucking in the ends, and serve immediately.

Notes

You can make the roasted garlic feta sauce a day in advance. Adjust the spices to your taste preference.
