Juicy Greek chicken burgers infused with fresh herbs and feta, served with cool tzatziki sauce.

- 1 pound ground chicken
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1/4 cup grated onion
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 burger buns
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup grated cucumber
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Combine the ground chicken, minced garlic, grated onion, parsley, mint, oregano, feta, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
- Shape the mixture into four equal-sized patties, about 3/4 inch thick.
- Cook the patties in a skillet or on the grill over medium heat for about 5 to 6 minutes on each side.
- Prepare the tzatziki by mixing Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, lemon juice, dill, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
- Toast the burger buns if desired.
- Assemble the burgers with tzatziki, lettuce, chicken patty, and a slice of tomato.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days. Tzatziki can be made a day in advance for enhanced flavor.
