Description

A gourmet twist on classic pizza featuring spicy pepperoni, creamy ricotta, and a drizzle of hot honey for an unforgettable flavor experience.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Pizza Dough (Store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup Tomato Sauce
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Ricotta Cheese
  • 1 cup Pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup Hot Honey
  • 1 cup Fresh Basil
  • 1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) if using a pizza stone, or 450°F (232°C) for a baking sheet.
  2. Prepare the dough by stretching it gently on a floured surface or rolling it out to about 12 inches in diameter.
  3. Assemble the base by transferring the dough to a parchment-lined baking sheet or preheated pizza stone and spreading the tomato sauce evenly over the base.
  4. Layer the mozzarella generously over the sauce and dollop the ricotta evenly across the surface.
  5. Add the pepperoni slices atop the cheeses, covering the surface without overcrowding.
  6. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes if desired.
  7. Bake the pizza for about 12–15 minutes, until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
  8. Finish the pizza with a drizzle of hot honey and torn basil leaves once out of the oven.
  9. Slice and serve warm to enjoy the blend of flavors!

Notes

Make-ahead tips include preparing the dough a day before and chilling it overnight. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
