- 1 cup Tomato Sauce
- 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese
- 1/2 cup Ricotta Cheese
- 1 cup Pepperoni
- 1/4 cup Hot Honey
- 1 cup Fresh Basil
- 1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) if using a pizza stone, or 450°F (232°C) for a baking sheet.
- Prepare the dough by stretching it gently on a floured surface or rolling it out to about 12 inches in diameter.
- Assemble the base by transferring the dough to a parchment-lined baking sheet or preheated pizza stone and spreading the tomato sauce evenly over the base.
- Layer the mozzarella generously over the sauce and dollop the ricotta evenly across the surface.
- Add the pepperoni slices atop the cheeses, covering the surface without overcrowding.
- Sprinkle with red pepper flakes if desired.
- Bake the pizza for about 12–15 minutes, until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
- Finish the pizza with a drizzle of hot honey and torn basil leaves once out of the oven.
- Slice and serve warm to enjoy the blend of flavors!
