Description

  • ½ lb hot Italian sausage (cooked and crumbled)
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • ¼ cup hot honey (or regular honey + chili flakes)
  • Fresh herbs (parsley or basil) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare Dough: On a floured surface, roll out your pizza dough into a circle or rectangle, adjusting thickness to preference.
  2. Cook Sausage: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook the crumbled hot sausage until browned and fully cooked, approximately 5-7 minutes.
  3. Assemble Pizza: Transfer your rolled-out dough onto a pre-heated pizza stone or baking sheet. Brush it lightly with olive oil. Spread the shredded mozzarella, followed by the crumbled sausage, and finish with feta cheese.
  4. Bake: Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
  5. Finish: Drizzle hot honey over the top while still hot. Optionally sprinkle with red pepper flakes.
  6. Serve: Let it rest for five minutes, scatter fresh herbs, slice, and enjoy!
