Description

A mouth-watering burger featuring juicy beef, gooey Irish cheddar, and Guinness beer mustard on a perfectly toasted bun.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 slices Irish cheddar cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 tablespoons Guinness beer mustard
  • 1/4 cup crispy bacon, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup caramelized onions
  • 1/4 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/4 cup sliced tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Gather all your ingredients and tools. Heat your grill or a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Prepare the ground beef by breaking it apart in a mixing bowl. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
  3. Shape the mixture into four patties about 3/4 inch thick.
  4. Caramelize the onions in a skillet over medium-low heat for 20-30 minutes until golden.
  5. Toast the buns cut-side down until crispy and golden.
  6. Cook the patties for 4-6 minutes per side, adding cheese a minute before they’re done.
  7. Assemble the burger with mustard, the patty, caramelized onions, bacon, lettuce, and tomato.

Notes

Make the patties ahead of time and store in the fridge. Cook using an air fryer at 400°F for 15-20 minutes if grilling isn’t possible.
