Description

A delightful bowl featuring marinated steak on fluffy rice, complemented by colorful grilled vegetables and a creamy, spicy sauce.


Ingredients

  • Ribeye or sirloin steak
  • Cooked jasmine or basmati rice
  • Soy sauce
  • Minced garlic
  • Minced ginger
  • Chopped green onions
  • Sesame oil
  • Bell peppers
  • Carrots
  • Spicy cream sauce (sour cream, sriracha, lime juice)

Instructions

  1. Marinate the steak: In a bowl, mix soy sauce, minced garlic, ginger, and sesame oil. Coat your steak generously, cover, and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Grill or pan-sear the steak: Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the marinated steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired doneness. Allow it to rest for a few minutes; then slice it thinly against the grain.
  3. Prepare the spicy cream sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together sour cream, sriracha, and lime juice. Adjust these ingredients to your taste.
  4. Assemble the rice bowls: In each bowl, place a scoop of warm rice at the bottom, layer with sliced steak, fresh vegetables, and drizzle with spicy cream sauce.
  5. Garnish and serve: Sprinkle chopped green onions on top and serve immediately.

Notes
