Description

Delicious low-calorie pizza rolls made with whole wheat dough, filled with low-fat mozzarella and turkey pepperoni. Perfect as a snack or appetizer!


Ingredients

  • Whole Wheat Dough
  • Lean Turkey Pepperoni
  • Low-Fat Mozzarella Cheese
  • Italian Seasoning (Optional)
  • Olive Oil (for brushing)
  • Marinara Sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the whole wheat dough on a lightly floured surface to about ¼ inch thickness.
  3. Cut the dough into small squares, about 3 inches each.
  4. Place a piece of turkey pepperoni and a small amount of mozzarella cheese in the center of each square.
  5. Fold the dough over to form a pocket and seal the edges with a fork.
  6. Brush the tops with a little olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning if desired.
  7. Arrange the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

Customize the filling with your favorite vegetables or alternative cheeses. Make-ahead options are available by refrigerating the prepared rolls before baking.
