Description

A delightful blend of sweet maple syrup, crispy bacon, and juicy beef patties, all hugged by warm waffles.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 frozen waffles
  • 6 strips bacon
  • 2 slices cheese (cheddar or your favorite)
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  2. Form the mixture into two equal patties, slightly larger than the waffles.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and cook the bacon until crispy, about 6-8 minutes.
  4. Remove the bacon and reserve 2 tablespoons of bacon fat in the pan.
  5. Increase heat to medium-high and cook the patties in the bacon fat for 4-5 minutes on each side, adding cheese in the last minute to melt.
  6. Toast the waffles until golden brown and crispy, brushing them lightly with maple syrup.
  7. Assemble by placing one waffle down, adding the cheese-topped patty, three strips of bacon, and another drizzle of maple syrup before topping with a second waffle.
  8. Serve immediately to enjoy the warm indulgence.

Notes

Make-ahead: Prepare burgers a day in advance. Cooking alternatives: Use air-fryer or bake at 400°F for about 20 minutes for healthier options.
