A delightful fusion of spicy sausage and honey BBQ sauce tossed with rotini pasta, all made in one skillet for a quick, comforting meal.

- 12 oz Rotini Pasta
- 12 oz Spicy Sausage (Andouille or Italian)
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 cup BBQ Sauce (smoky or honey-based)
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Chili Powder or Cayenne Pepper
- Salt & Pepper, to taste
- Fresh Parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil, add the rotini pasta, and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Cook the Sausage: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced sausage and cook for 5–7 minutes until browned and caramelized. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- Sauté Garlic: In the same skillet, add more olive oil if necessary, toss in minced garlic, and sauté for about a minute.
- Make the Sauce: Add BBQ sauce, honey, paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Combine and Toss: Return the sausage to the skillet and add the drained pasta. Toss everything together.
- Garnish and Serve: Finish with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Great for meal prep. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
