Description

A delightful fusion of classic banana bread and crunchy Oreos, creating a moist, flavorful loaf that captures hearts with every bite.


Ingredients

  • 34 medium Ripe Bananas
  • 1/3 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Chopped Oreos
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 23 tablespoons Milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas until smooth. Set aside.
  3. Combine the vegetable oil, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl. Beat together until well combined.
  4. Fold in the mashed bananas into the wet mixture until fully integrated.
  5. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
  6. Add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  7. Fold in the chopped Oreos until evenly distributed.
  8. Pour your batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  9. Bake for about 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  10. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  11. Mix powdered sugar, milk, and extra vanilla for the glaze until smooth. Drizzle over the bread once cooled.
