Ingredients

- 2 lbs pork shoulder
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Taco shells or tortillas
- 2 cups shredded cabbage or slaw mix
- Lime wedges for serving
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Combine ingredients: In your slow cooker, add the pork shoulder, chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Mix them gently.
- Set and forget: Cover the slow cooker and set it on low for about 480 minutes.
- Shred the pork: After cooking, remove the pork carefully and use two forks or shredder claws to pull it apart.
- Assemble the tacos: Scoop the tender pulled pork into taco shells or tortillas. Add the cabbage slaw, drizzle lime juice, and garnish with cilantro.
- Enjoy: Serve with extra lime wedges on the side.
Notes
