Description

A comforting and hearty Slow Cooker Lasagna layered with rich marinara, creamy cheeses, and savory ground beef, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 9 Lasagna Noodles (traditional or no-boil)
  • 15 oz Ricotta Cheese
  • 3 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 cup Fresh Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 4 cups Marinara Sauce
  • 1 lb Lean Ground Beef (or Italian Sausage)
  • 2 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the Meat: In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef or sausage, then toss in the chopped onions and minced garlic. Sauté until the meat is browned and the onions are translucent, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  2. Layer the Ingredients: Start with a layer of marinara sauce at the bottom of the slow cooker. Break the lasagna noodles into pieces that fit and add them on top.
  3. Add the Cheese: Spoon dollops of ricotta over the noodles, followed by the browned meat mixture and a sprinkle of mozzarella. Repeat the layering until all ingredients are used, finishing with mozzarella on top.
  4. Season Generously: Sprinkle Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper over the final layer.
  5. Set to Cook: Secure the lid on the slow cooker and set it to low for about 4-6 hours. It’s ready when the noodles are tender, and the cheese is melted.
  6. Serve with Love: Let the lasagna cool for a few minutes before serving to help it set.

Notes

For make-ahead tips, assemble in the fridge a night before. Can also be baked in an oven at 375°F for 45-60 minutes if no slow cooker is available.
